Galaxy NGC 891
Here’s a famous edge-on galaxy that I like to shoot from time to time. This particular rendition was created with the help of a Meade Schmidt-Newtonian with a 6″ mirror. Exposure: 50×180 sec @ ISO 1600, modified Canon T3.

The Seagull Nebula
The Seagull Nebula done as a mosaic of 2 separate panes and combined together. My trusty Televue TV-85 refractor was used for this one.
Comet Garrad, Mar 24th, 2012
An image of Comet Garrad generated from 40×180 sec @ ISO 1600 sub-exposures. These were taken with a TV-85 at F/5.6 and a Canon T3 DSLR camera.
Flaming Star and Tadpoles Nebulae
This one was one of my better images taken in 2012. I had a new camera and I was putting it through its paces.
