The October 2012 Waxing Moon
This is a composite of 3 moon images into one to show the progression of the Moon’s waxing phase. All images were taken with an 8″ F/4 GSO Newtonian telescope.
Galaxy NGC 891 w/6″ Schmidt-Newtonian
Here’s a famous edge-on galaxy that I like to shoot from time to time. This particular rendition was created with the help of a Meade Schmidt-Newtonian with a 6″ mirror. Exposure: 50×180 sec @ ISO 1600, modified Canon T3.
