Here are two new pictures taken with my Canon Digital Rebel camera.  The images are of the southern Milkyway near Sagittarius and Scorpio.  There is some light pollution coming from a small town south of my home, but it is not too bad.

Southern Milkyway on 7/3/05 - 1x30 sec, 400 ISO and 1x30 sec, 800 ISO stacked in Iris.  Result  processed in Photoshop.  28mm F/2.8, 800 ISO.
